Just thought I would send you an email just to say how FANTASTIC the service and follow up has been from Kara. As you know we brought the car from you and I have to say the service was not that great and considering I rang back 3 days after my initial call to just get a quote with the extras we were after, you almost lost the business to Port Macquarie, and I am sure you would not have wanted that. Kara is the only reason that I would actually recommend anyone to come to Blewitts. If she was not there when I picked the car up, we would not have even known that we had to bring the car back when the new roof racks came in. She was great when we had several issues (only small) with the car after delivery. I had already phoned about these and nothing was done but she acted straight away and everything has been fixed and she was happy to help. You definitely are on a winner with her and I would recommend anyone to her as she is great. Talk soon Jode

We have recently bought a Holden Commodore Wagon from Mike Blewitt Ford.

Our buying experience was excellent - we had an extremely helpful and likeable salesman, George.

I returned this morning to get a pink slip in prep for rego.

I don't think the guys in your service department were really ready for what they were about to experience!

What they did for me this morning was so far above and beyond what any job description would ask for that I just had to let you know what fantastic employees you have.

I guess what has motivated me to send this email is the little card that was left hanging around my mirror when I picked up the vehicle asking me to rate the service from 1-10 via text message. Just texting "10" couldn't tell you how pleased I am with the service.

I checked in my vehicle just outside the service building doors. I had my two very well behaved children (for once!) sitting in the pram and my very obedient black lab on a lead next to us.

Whilst talking to one of your staff members, I looked down and saw that my dog had decided to relieve himself. Lucky I was armed with bags. However when the dog stepped away, we all saw that no normal size bag was going to pick up this load.

We all laughed but I was cursing, and cursing. How could this dog do this to me. The two guys who were there by now proceeded to tell me not to worry and they had a bucket (yes, it was that bad) and a shovel out the back. One of the guys left to fetch the bucket and shovel after which I heard pearls of laughter coming from out the back and one-by-one staff members came to have a look and a laugh.

When the bucket and spade fetcher returned, one of the guys shovelled up the waste and got it into a plastic bag. It didn't end there - they actually insisted they dispose of the plastic bag after I offered to take it away.

After a good wash of the driveway I was on my way.

I just wanted to thank the boys in the service department. What they did was great. They could have left me there to pick it up myself with an audience of blokes.

I think my dog made their day too! Thanks to the boys at Mike Blewitt for picking up my dog's sh*t and giving me a good laugh for the day.

Ford Motor Company formally congratulates the team at Mike Blewitt Ford, who were accredited on the service upgrade program on Wednesday, February 5th, 2003.

This accreditation is a true testament to their hard work and efforts in aspiring to deliver the highest levels of service excellence to their customers.

The following photo gallery illustrates the service upgrade program in action at Mike Blewitt Ford.

Customers drive into the Mike Blewitt Ford Service Entrance to begin their service upgrade experience.

New vehicle display within the service department reception area allows the dealer to promote new vehicles to service customers.

The interactive inspection phase allows the customer to walk around the vehicle with the service advisor, who points out the work required on the vehicle. This promotes trust in the relationship.

The customer bay area opens up at the other side to allow the service advisor to drive the customer vehicle straight into the servicing bays.
