Sitting in the driver’s seat feels less like being in a car, and more like a fighter jet. Twin screens before you, controls at your fingertips and a dark cocoon of comfort all around. On-screen, every pixel counts, with endlessly customisable displays and unique drive mode-specific visuals to give you a fully immersive experience.
Wrap-around screen
Everyday driving transforms into a visceral experience with a magnesium-framed 13.2-inch centre screen, angled towards the driver.
Sound all around
The Bang & Olufsen1 12-speaker sound system, including subwoofer, feels like being at a live performance.

Wirelessly integrate your mobile with Apple CarPlayTM 2 5 and Android AutoTM 2 5. No more tangled cords, just a sleek, uncluttered interior.

The display incorporates a fully-customisable 12.4-inch digital cluster that allows you to decide what information is displayed. If you want an 80’s throwback, you can even choose a replica of the iconic Fox Body Mustang gauge cluster.
Charge on the go
Wireless phone charging3 is as simple as placing your device on the central pad and forgetting all about it. Behind the rear-view mirror, a USB port is ready to keep a dash camera charged, so you don’t miss a single second of track or street action.

Peak performance on any road
Selectable drive modes4 allow you to automatically adjust steering feel, throttle response, exhaust volume and electronic stability control to suit every drive. On-screen, unique animations and cluster appearances, powered by the same Unreal Engine 3D software used in video games, accompany each drive mode.

With great power comes great control
MagneRide® 1 is a high-performance, adaptive suspension control system that can respond every 7 milliseconds for enhanced handling performance. It stiffens when driven hard to help with grip and performance, but also ensures a smooth, balanced ride for cruising. So, the driver is always assured of the best of both worlds.
1. Factory Options can be ordered before a vehicle is manufactured at an additional cost. Not available when GT Appearance Pack is selected. GT Fastback models fitted with MagneRide® suspension will receive Red painted Brembo™ brake callipers with a white Brembo™ logo. MagneRide® is standard on Dark Horse, and will come with Black painted Brembo™ brake callipers with a white Brembo™ logo as standard. Brembo™ brake callipers will be changed to Notorious Blue painted Brembo™ brake callipers with a Grabber Blue Brembo™ logo as part of Dark Horse Appearance Pack.
Adrenaline-boosting drift brake2
Co-developed with Formula Drift champions, Mustang’s drift brake flatters novices, and supports experts, on the race track. A torque-sensing limited slip differential helps you guide your slide with ease.

More rubber meets the road
Designed for track use only, line lock3 makes preparing for a drag strip launch almost too easy. When activated, a dedicated engagement timer appears on-screen, helping you warm the tyres perfectly for the quarter mile.

Sounds like a muscle car should
The quad tip exhaust with active valve functionality4 lets you control the volume of your Mustang – although it’s hard to resist the raucous V8 growl of the sport setting. And, when you can’t wait, you can start the engine from afar with the remote start5 function on your key fob.

Post-Collision Braking1 3
Post-Collision Braking automatically applies moderate brake pressure when an initial collision event is detected. Slowing the vehicle after impact can potentially lessen injury and damage to the vehicle, as well as reduce the severity of a potential secondary collision.

3. This feature will return control of the vehicle to the drive if, at any time after the impact, the driver actively operates the accelerator pedal or carries out emergency braking by themself. If there is no such intervention from the driver, the system will brake the vehicle to a complete stop.
Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Centring1 4
Adaptive Cruise Control allows you to maintain a preset speed and distance from the vehicle ahead, slowing to a stop, then returning to your set cruising speed once traffic clears. Plus, Lane Centring helps keep your vehicle properly centred in the lane.

4. The Stop and Go functionality of this system operates as low as 0km/hr in traffic jam situations. Customers should read the Owner’s Manual for full details of the limitation of the ACC system before activating the system. Lane Centring and Stop & Go available on models fitted with an automatic transmission only. Manual transmission models will feature lane keeping aid with lane departure warning only.
Evasive Steer Assist1
If Pre-Collision Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) determines the distance is too short to brake in time to avoid a collision, your Mustang will provide steering support (without steering for you) to help you avoid the obstacle.
